Though this shoe has a built in RLV feature, I haven’t tried it out for myself. (Mainly because I know I’ll end up naked in the ocean of a random infohub.) There is also a version of the Elektra Fetish Boots without the RLV option (they are less expensive as well). These boots also come with a hud allowing the user to change the band color on the boots.

Both pairs of these shoes are equipped with menus that enable the wearer to edit the shoe’s texture and size. There is also an “extras” menu which allows the wearer to do things such as show or hide the shoe’s built in invisiprims. The Platform Pumps can be worn with or without the front strap, and each section of the shoe can be retextured. The DARE Booties also include an easy to use HUD that allows the wearer to modify toe and toe nail polish color. There are even slots available to save custom toe colors.

Clothing Fair 2010 has given me the perfect opportunity to indulge the kid in me (not that I don’t do that already). You see, I told myself I was only going to pick up the clothing basics at the fair–jeans, camisoles, etc. But, to my delight and dismay, there are just so many pretty and playful ensembles! Clothing Fair 2010 is now open! The fair spans 9 sims, 8 of which are modeled around different cities of the world! Each city has several different booths set up for your shopping pleasure. Hot for Zombies Presents My Bloody Valentine

I wanted to step away from blogging fashion for this post to tell you about another awesome fundraiser that has been set up, in order to further assist the relief efforts in Haiti. (If you want to know what I am wearing, you can find it in the comments section of this post. Though, I’m not sure how much of my outfit is available anymore.)

While many people may be a bit concerned that this theme is in bad taste, considering the events that have taken place in Haiti, it is definitely NOT the intent of the organizers to demean or make light of the situation. In fact, it is the hopes of the organizers to attract a portion of the SL population, who may not have already participated in fundraising events. The last Hot for Zombies event was very successful; and, hopefully, this one will be, as well.

Event runs until February 19th. All proceeds from vendors and donation boxes go to charity! Please feel free to send a notecard to Putrid Gloom, Stein Shilova, Louhi Gothly, Gattina Dumpling, or Horrid Twine; if you would like to or are available to help or to participate in any way!
